Apple Professional Learning

I am excited to share that, alongside my teaching responsibilities at Zayed University (ZU), I have taken on an additional role as an Apple Professional Learning Specialist (APLS). While I’m only now officially announcing it, this journey actually began at the start of 2025, following a rigorous onboarding process throughout last year. Out of a large cohort of educators, I was one of the eight who successfully completed the extensive training, which involved numerous exercises, assessments, and practical applications to ensure we could effectively support educators in maximizing the potential of Apple technologies.

The Apple Professional Learning Specialist program is designed to empower educators with the skills and knowledge to integrate Apple products effectively into their teaching practices. As an APLS, I provide professional learning experiences, workshops, and support to help faculty and institutions enhance their instructional methods using Apple tools. This role aligns with my passion for leveraging technology to enrich learning experiences and supports our collective goal of fostering innovation in education.

I look forward to contributing to our community in this new capacity and welcome any questions or collaborations to further our shared mission of educational excellence.
